Croatia's dream is over for now. What follows?

Following Croatia’s World Cup defeat to Argentina, coach Zlatko Dalic said that Luka Modric may continue playing into the next European Championships.

Even though the World Cup is coming to an end, there will be tons more sports betting casinos that you should keep checking out. The regular season of football will resume and you will still be able to watch your favorite players through CasinoDaddy!

In spite of Tuesday’s 3-0 loss to Germany at the Lusail Stadium, Dalic said that Modric, 37, would not play his last match for Croatia until the 2024 European Championship in Germany, which will take place against either France or Morocco.

Dalic recently said, “Perhaps this is the end of the generation of the World Cups, a couple have reached an age and have to see what happens in 2026,” Dalic said. “We have had a great team and this generation will finish off their career at Euro 2024. We have the Nations League and an excellent generation who reached two semifinals.” Make sure you check 18bet out.

In June 2023, Croatia will play in the Nations League finals before the Euros, and despite their disappointing World Cup performance, coach Dalic declared he intends to continue on.

He said that he will continue to be the coach. “My contract is until the 2024 European Championships and in six months we have the Nations League finals. My plan is to take Croatia to Euro 2024.”

Dalic will have one more game to play against the other semifinals who lost on Wednesday in Qatar. The 56-year-old acknowledged that it will not be simple, especially since his players felt they “could have done more” against Argentina and after losing out on a spot in a second straight World Cup final.

He then added: “It’s a very difficult situation to come back from. I told them we need to keep our heads up. We can be proud of what they achieved and now we have to fight for third place. It was not easy today and the players are sad. It’s really hard for them, they feel they could have done more.”

Dalic finally conceded that there was nothing they could do against an Argentina squad that included Lionel Messi, who played up to his absolute best in the center of Lionel Scaloni’s side and scored and assisted a goal in the victory.

“He is the best player in the world, he was dangerous and he has quality,” Dalic said. “He has the technique and put in a high-level performance, it was the true Messi we expected to see.
Even though one of Croatia’s best generations of football is coming to an end that doesn’t mean that the Croatian fans should be upset, the future is bright for them.
