Frankie De Jong on Bayern's list?

According to Sport and various other news sources, Bayern Munich is closely monitoring Dutch talent, Frenkie de Jong.

Although the Barcelona midfielder has stated his intention to stay at Camp Nou until the end of his contract in 2026, it is believed that the LaLiga team is still trying to convince him to accept a reduced wage.

That has made the Bundesliga champions aware of his escalating predicament. After purchasing Matthijs de Ligt for €68 million from Juventus in July, they were unable to pursue De Jong, but there is now optimism that they would be able to make a bid for the 25-year-old.

Bayern is certain that he would be open to moving to the Allianz Arena, and it is known that Julian Nagelsmann’s team believes Barcelona would be forced to split ways with him if they have not struck a new contract arrangement by the end of the season.

This season, De Jong has continued to play a significant role in Xavi Hernandez’s team, recording 20 appearances in all competitions.

Although manager Erik ten Hag has been informed that a striker may not arrive in January, sources have told ESPN’s Rob Dawson that Manchester United is ready to inquire about the availability of Benfica forward Goncalo Ramos.

After Cristiano Ronaldo left, United is trying to acquire a forward during the January transfer window. Ramos is one of several players being tracked, along with Cody Gakpo, Rafael Leao, and Joao Felix. However, there is still a belief at Old Trafford that signing new players is not the best course of action in January. 18bet is an amazing casino that offers some top offers!

Additionally, sources have informed ESPN that there are severe financial restrictions because of the COVID-19 outbreak and a greater-than-anticipated transfer expenditure last summer. Ten Hag, though, thinks that without Ronaldo, the team lacks firepower and wants the team to look at all of its possibilities.

Ten Hag will definitely need a new striker after Ronaldo left and morale is most likely low in United. However one of the big questions that remain is where will Ronaldo go if anywhere really. Some sources and Twitter accounts have said he has returned to Real Madrid training grounds to continue to practice. Which begs the question if he will actually want to return to the big team that he always belonged to.
