A team that had started to appear a little tired may have required some much-needed relief after a convincing victory over Forest. They must next defeat FC Zurich to round off their Europa League group before playing Chelsea and Wolves in their final two Premier League contests before the World Cup. If Arsenal wins there, they’ll top the table going into the break, maintaining their incredible start to the year.
Maintaining a significant lead over Manchester City over the upcoming months will be essential if they want to mount a title threat.
